To get the best from your BMW Plug-in Hybrid, it’s important to regularly charge the battery. Whether you charge your car at home, at work or at public charge stations, there are a great range of options that make it easy and convenient.
HOME CHARGING.
The majority of our plug-in hybrid owners charge their car at home. It’s as simple as charging your phone.
All BMW Plug-in Hybrid models are equipped with our standard charging cable that is compatible with any domestic 3-pin power outlet. With charging cycles typically between 5-10 hours (0-100%) you can arrive, plug-in and fully charge overnight or during work hours, ready for the next journey.
For even faster charge times, a home-charging wallbox can be installed which can reduce charge cycles to less than 4 hours.
PUBLIC CHARGING.
You can also take advantage of the continuously expanding BMW Charging network to stay charged whilst on the move.
BMW Charging, provides access to over 12,000 charging stations of various network operators across the UK, as well as over 173,000 charging stations across Europe.
