THE BMW 2002.
The two-door sporty medium-sized car was fitted with a four-cylinder engine offering exceptional sportiness for its time. This model shaped the 2 Series Coupé into what it is today.

THE BMW 1 SERIES COUPÉ.
The BMW 1 Series Coupé blended BMW’s characteristic agility with a striking design and athletic stance to deliver an exhilarating driving experience.

2013
THE FIRST GENERATION 2 SERIES COUPÉ (F22).
The first BMW 2 Series Coupé built on our successful traditions, closely linked with the number "2" in the model designation known for dynamically high-performing compact models. The F22 launched as a rear-wheel Coupé, setting new standards in the premium compact sector in aesthetics, dynamics and emotional appeal. In 2017, a lifecycle impulse introduced a sharper front-end, LED headlights as standard, as well as a completely re-designed interior cabin.

2021-2022
THE SECOND GENERATION 2 SERIES COUPÉ (G42).
Communicated initially in July 2021, the BMW 2 Series Coupé (G42) connected our classic coupe tradition with modern BMW design language.
G42 Market Launch commenced in March 2022.
JUN
2024
START OF COMMUNICATION.
The new BMW 2 Series Coupé (G42) will be announced on June 13th following with the release of this retailer guide.
AUG
2024
START OF PRODUCTION.
Production of the new BMW 2 Series Coupé will commence in August 2024 at BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
There is no official market launch date instead a rolling launch from when cars arrive.
