The stunning, industry-first 240mm circular OLED display is at the heart of the interior. Housing the instrument cluster, MINI Connected onboard infotainment and assistance hub, it channels the power of your entire MINI into an intuitive command system. Toggle away below the display, from the parking brake to the gears and much more. Everything you need within reach, as well as a host of multifunctional controls on your steering wheel. Express your mood and transform your cockpit with a choice of seven MINI Experience Modes for an unforgettable driving experience. When the top’s down, the Always Open Timer app displays the time per trip, total open-air time and the outside temperature, along with a fun corresponding animated graphic.
STYLISH AND SUSTAINABLE.
Our new textile aesthetic provides a warm and inviting ambience inside the cabin. Made from high-quality, recycled materials and knitted with a unique 2D technique, bespoke features for each trim style can be seen throughout: from the dashboard and steering wheel to the seat upholstery and the headliner. Your choice of upholstery is also the perfect canvas for projections from different MINI Experience Modes. The luxurious Vescin upholstery, as seen here in Beige and available on the Exclusive style, gives the cabin an air of sophistication.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY.
Drop the roof, even while you’re driving. The electric-powered soft-top folds down at the touch of a button in just 18 seconds, at speeds of up to 32km/h. With the hood dropped you’ll feel the wind in your hair. For a precisely dosed supply of fresh air and sunlight, the front section of the soft-top can be continuously retracted by up to 40 centimetres. This sunroof function is available at any speed.
ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY?
The new MINI Cooper Convertible offers comfortable seating for four, with enough room to kick back and relax in the rear. There’s plenty of room for luggage too – 160 litres with the soft top open, expanding to 215 litres with the soft top closed. Loading’s a breeze with the Easy Load function, which allows for the roof base to be pushed up to expand the luggage compartment opening.
